  • Driving licence data (Rent): deleted after the hire is complete unless it relates to an ongoing claim or dispute

  • Telematics data: normally kept for up to 12 months, unless needed for an investigation or claim

  • Communications: normally kept for up to 12 months

  • Marketing information: kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data

  • ask us to delete your data in certain circumstances

7. Children & Safeguarding

Bookings with Orbiy must be made by adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly enter into contracts with minors or collect personal data directly from children.

Children may travel as passengers in Orbiy vehicles, including in some cases where a child travels alone, provided that a parent or legal guardian has clearly authorised the journey. The booking adult remains responsible for providing consent and for ensuring safe pick-up and drop-off arrangements.

For chauffeur journeys involving children, we follow safeguarding principles, including:

  • professional and appropriate behaviour from drivers

  • No unnecessary physical contact with child passengers

  • Following the authorised pick-up and drop-off instructions

  • only releasing a child to the authorised receiving adult

  • not taking photos or videos of child passengers

  • not asking children for unnecessary personal information

We only record the minimum information necessary (for example, a first name and the person authorised to meet the child) to complete the journey safely.


8. International Transfers

Some of our service providers may store or process data outside the UK. When this occurs, we ensure that appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent legal mechanisms, are in place to protect your information.
